Snapshots From A Wedding – Bergger BRF 400 Plus Film

(Click For Larger Image)

We attended a family wedding last March (2016) in Niagara-on-the-Lake, Canada. I brought my film camera loaded with BRF 400 Plus film.  If you’ve read a few of my earlier posts, you already know I really love this film.  It’s wide dynamic range makes it great for shooting in difficult lighting situations and/or low light conditions. The grain is beautiful, and the negatives are great for scanning. Below are some of the images from that trip, which I finally got around to processing and scanning last month (January, 2017).

Camera: Leica M6 Millennium Edition

Lens: Canon 35mm LTM F/2

Film: Bergger BRF 400 Plus (shot at box speed)

Developer: Ilford Ilfotec HC (1+31)

Scanner: Chromapro 45 With My Olympus EM1

Note:  I think my viewfinder frame-lines are a bit off on my M6, as I seem to be framing a little high.  I don’t seem to have this issue (I don’t think) on my M2 and M3. I’ll have to look into this. Maybe I had one too many cocktails? At least they’re in focus! =)
